Park Shelter Reservations

2013 PARK SHELTER RESERVATIONS

Summer Weekend dates are going fast!  NO reservations are available at MEMORIAL PARK on Saturdays and Sundays in June, July, and August.  Other parks have multiple dates available --- just give us a call!

Park Shelter reservations may be made in person at the Office of the Director of Public Service (2nd floor, City Hall) or by telephone with a credit card (330.335.2708).

 

Reservations for the use of park shelters are now being taken on the 2nd floor of City Hall,120 Maple Street (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).  Shelter rentals are available for the shelters listed below.  Reservations must be made in person (first-come-first served) on March 1st but may be made by phone with a credit card, after that date. 

Payment must be made before reservation is held.

Note that restrooms may not be open at the parks for all October dates.  As freezing weather threatens, restroom pipes must be winterized, and restrooms will be closed (generally, mid-to-late October).

Memorial Park (large shelter, only), Muhl Park & Valleyview Park

Resident Rate:                    $45.00

Non-Resident Rate:             $70.00

 

New Bird Park, Old Bird Park, Durling Park, Friedt Park & Weatherstone Park

Resident Rate:                $35.00

Non-Resident Rate:         $60.00

Baseball - Softball Field Use Policy & Procedures

Individuals or community groups wishing to reserve the use of a ballfield should contact Kathy Stugmyer at 335.2708.

League Teams should contact their commissioners regarding field use.  

The above guidelines apply to all.

 

Muhl Park pavilion may only be reserved during times that do not conflict with organized youth sports.  Friedt Park has an ADA accessible port-a-let restroom.  Pavilions - other than those listed above - are available for use on a first-come-first-served basis, only (no reservations available).    Special activities require special permission.  Call 335.2708 for details.
