Internet Service Tier Descriptions:
Tier 1: Downstream= up to 768 kb/s, Upstream= up to 256 kb/s
Good for very light Internet surfing and email for 1 PC. Not optimized for digital phone (VOIP) or streaming video / audio (although these services will work).
Tier 2: Downstream= up to 3.0 mb/s, Upstream up to 512 kb/s
Good for moderate Internet surfing for 1 to many PCs. Good for digital phone (VOIP) and streaming video / audio.
Tier 3: Downstream= up to 8.0 mb/s, Upstream= up to 768 kb/s
Great for heavy Internet surfing and for businesses with many PCs. Great for digital phone (VOIP), online gaming, and streaming video / audio.
